Okija and its neighbors were buzzing with festive spirit on December 22nd! The Obijackson Foundation generously brought holiday cheer to 5,000 families with overflowing bags of rice, beans, tomato paste, groundnut oil, and noodles. The ObiJackson Foundation even provided transportation money to ensure everyone could enjoy the gifts!
The traditional ruler, Igwe Nnaemeka Okezie, and the Okija bu Enyi brothers joined the celebration, witnessing the immense gratitude from the beneficiaries.
This wasn’t just a random act of kindness. The ObiJackson Foundation conducted a month-long screening to ensure every needy family in Okija received much-needed food the season. It’s a big step towards achieving SDG goal 2: Zero Hunger!
