Nutrition
“Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.”– Seneca
The Pantry
Our Pantry initiative of the Nutrition program was set up to provide raw food items to thousands of poor people in Anambra and its environs.
Through this program, we assist widows, indigents and physically challenged people having been screened using the standard 2013 Nigerian PPI (Progress out of Poverty Index).
The Foundation distributes dry food items and provisions on a monthly basis. There are currently more than twenty-three (23) centres across the South East that benefit from our pantry.
Soup Kitchens
Our soup kitchen program offers hot meals to over 6,000 people monthly. The primary beneficiaries of this initiative are the Social Development Rehabilitation and Welfare Centre Owutu Ikorodu Lagos State and the Social Development and Rehabilitation Centre Nteje Anambra State.
During the festive seasons, inmates of correctional institutes in Anambra and Lagos also benefit from this.
The initiative also supports other special education centers, correctional institutes (prisons), rehabilitation homes and motherless babies homes monthly with food items and personal effects.
