Promise Fulfilled

As part of our mandate of ‘Serving God in Our Neighbours, The Founders of the ObiJackson Foundation, Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi and Barrister Nnenna Obiejesi on Saturday 26th August 2017 commissioned a 13.5KVA generator and a 5″ water borehole constructed and donated by ObiJackson Foundation to Nnewi prison, Anambra State . This was in fulfillment of the promise Dr Azudialu made to them when he celebrated his birthday with the inmates in April.

Dr Azudialu said that the borehole was to ensure the inmates have constant access to potable water and the power generating set was donated for them to pump water and provide power for their use, making lives easier for them. He counseled the inmates to see their stay in the prison as a chance to be rehabilitated, and they must ensure that they become productive members of the society  whenever they leave the prisons. He also vowed that ObiJackson Foundation will continue its relentless efforts to touch lives positively in our society.

Commending the very generous donation to the prison, Barrister Nwakeze Emmanuel (The Prison Controller Anambra state Command) opined that through this project the inmates of Nnewi prions will have access to quality water. He also appreciated the monthly prison visitation the ObiJackson Foundation undertakes in various prisons all over Nigeria. The prison Inmates were elated by the kind gesture and they commended Dr. Azudialu for being a man of his words through the fulfilment of his promise to them when he visited them a few month ago.
