Environment Unit
The Environment Unit of the Obijackson Foundation plays a crucial role in promoting environmental stewardship, climate action, and sustainable community development. Recognizing that a healthy environment is foundational to human wellbeing and economic stability, the Unit is committed to conserving natural resources, raising environmental awareness, and driving practical eco-friendly initiatives.
Clean-Up Exercises: Regular sanitation drives have improved hygiene standards, especially in rural communities and marketplaces like Okija.
Environmental Education: Through school outreach and community sensitization, the unit has empowered students and residents with knowledge on waste management, climate change, and environmental responsibility.
The Environmental unit of the foundation embodies our commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
Beyond environmental sustainability, this initiative is also about creating value and economic opportunities for indigenes. We recognize that the future of our community lies in empowering our people both the young and old to actively participate in initiatives that drive progress. Through this program, we are not only ensuring cleaner surroundings but also creating employment opportunities for our youth, providing them with skills and resources to contribute meaningfully to society.
Let us strive to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community for ourselves and our children.
These efforts have not only improved the physical environment but have also instilled a culture of responsibility and eco-consciousness among young people and local residents.
